Before you are allowed to view the icons you must read the terms of use and agree to the rules listed below. If you do not agree then do not use these icons. I spend hours working on these icons so please be respectful. Any and all 100×100 icons (or irregular sized icons) are meant to be used on journaling sites such as livejournal.com and/or message boards that allow custom avatars. You are free to use these icons on said sites as long as you follow these few simple rules.
DO’s
- Credit is mandatory!
DON’T’s
- Do not direct link to the icons. Upload them to your own server.
(FYI: Direct linking is when you take the original icon link from this website and use it on the message board you’re a member of. That steals bandwidth and is frowned upon by everyone.)
- Do not claim any of my icons as your own or edit them in any way, shape, or form. If an icon is blank (without text) it is NOT a base icon.
(FYI: A base icon is an icon that has no text and can be edited to one’s liking. Some icon makers create base icons for others to customize. I do not create base icons, therefore no icon without text will be a base icon.)
- Do not use these icons on sites like Myspace for comments or those ridiculous RockYou flash slideshow things. There are plenty of websites that offer glitter comment graphics and such. This site is not one of them.
- Do not use my icons to make glitter icons/graphics for Myspace or whatever site is in the now.
And most importantly…
- Do not take the icons and use them on your own website as downloadable content. This also includes, but not limited to making a backup and/or archiving them on your site. (These icons do not need to be hosted on other fansites/portfolios/or what have you. If you want icons for this particular purpose then make your own from scratch.) Yes, even if you give credit you are still breaking this rule and will be reported to your host.
This isn’t too much to ask. Icon/avatars are simply just that. They are made to display a picture next to your journal or your member profile. That’s it.
By clicking “I AGREE” below, you are stating that you have read and understood the obligation to follow the rules above. Please respect my wishes and use these icons for their intended use.
